How It Started! The Beginning

There comes a time on a heavy rainy day when you're already running late to work.

Your Runway is messy and flooded and your plane won't fly.

You've tried every possible way to fix it, and it seems like nothing is ever working out.

After six straight hours of try and error, the more it keeps not working.

Just right at the brim of giving up, something finally clicked.

Initiate... Processing... Execution successful!

My code finally ran.

Sigh of relief.

But the time is quarter to 8 and when one problem gets solved, life comes with another one.

How can I get to a brief meeting just right at 8am.

A long journey of 30km in less than 15 min, find the avg speed. What a Jamb Question!

There can only be one sure way!!!

To go far, go with people. To go fast, Go alone!

This is reality happening in 3D mode. So I turned on my GTA code.

#GetThereAmazinglyFast

So right there on the highway, 1, 2 buckle my shoe lace, 3, 4 stop a lucky racer biker PJ 600, 5k or 6k forget the price, 7, 8 jump over 9. 10 just get me there.

Everything fades away backward as we race to excellence.

I finally opened the main office door, the time was just 8:01. Guess the first question a colleague threw at me?

How come your shirt didn't get wet? Didn't the rain beat you.

I smiled and replied.

For the Lord is my strength and shield.

For the doors that was held for me,

For the open doors that I didn't close.

For the people I greeted that didn't respond,

For the one that greeted me and I didn't look back

For the beautiful faces that smiled back at me

For the Dark room I entered to transform my dress.

For the bridges, we crossed

For the rivers that parted ways for us

For the vehicles that splash us dirty

For the trailers that gave us chance

For the police that flagged us but zoomed pass

For all the red light we didn't stop for

For the morning coastal beach landscape view

For all the times we switched to the wrong lane.

For the sport cars we over took

For the short times we stopped to refuel

For the right time I spent waiting for that lucky racer to show up.

For all the codes I broke and crashed.

And for all the risk I took and didn't take.

I didn't understand it back then

But now everything make sense reading backward

Everything led to this...

And for that—

I am always

grateful.
